This table provides download links for MERRA data interpolates to the buoy data positions.
MERRA data is currently only available through January 2025.
The Data columns are

Where
iIceC = Ice concentration from MERRA2_400.tavg1_2d_flx_Nx
iBP = Surface Barometric Pressure from MERRA2_400.inst1_2d_asm_Nx
iTs = Skin Temperature from MERRA2_400.inst1_2d_asm_Nx
iTa_2m = 2m Air Temperature from MERRA2_400.inst1_2d_asm_Nx
iWindE_0Layer = Eastward Wind (m/s) for ~0-60m from MERRA2_400.tavg1_2d_flx_Nx
iWindN_0Layer = Northward Wind (m/s) for ~0-60m from MERRA2_400.tavg1_2d_flx_Nx
Note: Other quantities available for interpolation upon request from these MERRA files include
1. 10m Air Temperature
2. ~0-60m Air Temperature
3. Surface Winds at 2m
4. Surface Winds at 10m
Unavailable: Ocean Currents from
reanalysis have been interpolated onto buoys from 5/1/2021 to 12/31/2023, but are not yet available for 2024.
